Below you can see some sample screenshots of PreviSat. They illustrate the main features of PreviSat.
The Main Window
The main window gives you access to the most common functions. The "Main" tab below the map displays the position expressed in different frames.
The Wall Command Center visualization
By checking the box "ISS Live", you activate the Wall Command Center visualization which looks like as closely as possible the control center of NASA.
The sky map in full size
This sky map represents the sky as seen from New York city on September 5th, 2012 at 22:07:30 (local hour). We can see Envisat near the South horizon and its trajectory on the sky towards the North.
Osculating elements
This tab displays the osculating (keplerian) elements of the selected satellite, and also its cartesian position and velocity (in ECI frame as given by the SGP4 model, or in ECEF frame).
Satellite informations
It details components of the TLE and gives informations about the satellite (standard magnitude, dimensions).
Predictions of passes, flares, ISS transits, telescope and antenna tabs
These tabs allow to make the most useful predictions (simple passes, flares or ISS transits). A good choice for parametrization is to keep the default values, as here.
